Welcome
Hello and welcome! For many people, the decision to enter into therapy can be daunting – you may be unsure of what to expect, you may be uncertain if it will be helpful, and you may be fearful of the idea of sharing a side of yourself with someone you do not know. I am empathetic to this feeling and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients.
I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is essential to the healing process, and I will collaborate with you to create a trusting environment. I believe that our early experiences continue to influence our present lives and therapy can assist in gaining a fuller understanding of yourself. This can allow you to make more satisfying choices about your relationships, career, and an authentic experience of yourself.
I have experience working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, low feelings of self-worth, trauma, and relationship conflicts, with additional training in couple’s therapy. My office is conveniently located in Frederick, MD. I am looking forward to speaking with you about your personal journey towards change and growth.
